Young Academics Award 2026
La ricerca e l’innovazione sono elementi chiave per promuovere lo sviluppo sostenibile nelle Alpi. I giovani ricercatori e ricercatrici ricoprono un ruolo fondamentale per il futuro dello spazio alpino. L’obiettivo dello Young Academics Award è quello di riconoscere questo ruolo chiave premiando le migliori tesi di master su tematiche alpine di rilievo. Il premio viene attribuito ogni due anni ed è un’inziative della Presidenza e del Segretariato Permanente della Convenzione delle Alpi in collaborazione con ISCAR (International Scientific Committee on Research in the Alps), il cui segretariato è gestito dal FoLAP.

International best practices in foresight
On 24 February 2026, leading experts from Switzerland and across Europe came together to share their insights on best practices in foresight. The meeting was held as part of the project «Method for the early identification of socially relevant topics». In this project, the Swiss Academy of Sciences (SCNAT) and the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) are working together to develop a systematic method to identify socially relevant issues at an early stage.
