How to Fund Your Sustainability Project Idea

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Do you want to contribute to sustainability, already know what needs to be done, but lack funding to get started? Or do you have a concrete project on sustainability and are looking for funding to make it a success? Join this workshop to find out about the funding programme “U Change” that can help finance your project! Each funded student project receives up to CHF 10,000.

PROGRAMME

​During the workshop, the project manager of U Change, Yves Gärtner, explains how the funding application process works, gives tips for a successful funding proposal, and provides background information. You will also find out about examples of funded student projects. Last but not least, you will have time to ask any questions you might have and to get feedback on your project ideas.

PREPARATION

Have a look at short videos about student projects that are funded by U Change (in German: Motivationsvideo, VELOVE and Nachhaltigkeit im Laboralltag).

The current call for U Change projects is open and ends already on 31 October 2022! This workshop is the perfect opportunity to get to know U Change and get all the important information to hand-in your proposal.

U Change is a funding program for student projects for sustainable development and platform structures supporting such student initiatives. It is run by the Network for Transdisciplinary Research of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences. The main goal of U Change is to anchor sustainable development at Swiss higher education institutions.

This workshop is open to all students at Swiss higher education institutions and is free of charge.
